Club 71 (aka “City Youth Centre”) was based on Lincoln Road in what is now the “Lincoln Road Centre”. Although more a Youth Club than a live venue, it did play host to a small number of bands in the early 1970s.

The Youth Club operated upstairs with the downstairs used as a sports hall which is probably where any live bands would have played.
